What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Identify, solicit, underwrite, and sell new and renewal Specialty accounts to drive profitable growth
- Utilize underwriting tools and strategies to ensure compliance with guidelines and assess risk
- Manage assigned portfolio to achieve financial and performance goals
- Build and maintain relationships with agents and clients to enhance business opportunities
- Prepare and analyze underwriting decisions, rates, and requirements to drive results
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Generally 3-7+ years of Specialty or standard commercial lines experience
- 3-4+ years of experience driving agency relationships resulting in profitable new and renewal business
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external partners
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and make informed business decisions
