- Head High School Football Coach and Campus Athletic Coordinator.
- Provides individualized and small group instruction in order to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each student, to the extent feasible.
- Provides appropriate safety instruction and makes safety checks on equipment and field areas to insure the overall safety of students.
- Maintains control of storage and use of school-owned property.
- Participates in curriculum and other developmental programs.
- Participates in faculty committees and the sponsorship of student activities.
- Performs other duties as many, from time to time be assigned by the supervisor
- Implement a variety of effective instructional strategies consistent with lesson objectives.
- Diagnose and evaluate student abilities and progress in a timely and consistent manner.
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
- Plan a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of the students.
- Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
- Assess the accomplishments of students on a regular basis and provide progress reports as required.
- Effectively implement district initiatives.
- Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
- Acts as Booster Club Liaison.
- Keeps Activity/Athletic Center Master Schedule.
- Provides individualized and small group instruction in order to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each student, to the extent feasible.
- Establishes and maintains standards of student behavior needed to provide an orderly, productive environment. Evaluates each student’s growth in physical skills, knowledge, and contribution in team sports.
- Maintains professional competence through professional development activities provided by the district, and/or in self-selected professional growth activities.
- Participates cooperatively with the appropriate administrator to develop the method by which he/she will be evaluated in conformance with district guidelines.
- Communicates with parents and school counselors on student progress.
- Identifies student needs and cooperates with other professional staff members in helping students solve health, attitude, and learning problems.
- Supervises students in out-of-classroom activities.
- Participates in curriculum and other developmental programs.
- Participates in faculty committees and the sponsorship of student activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor
- Maintains prompt and regular attendance and demonstrates the ability to maintain positive professional working relationships with others
- Maintain emotional control under stress
- Must have the ability to lift at least 40 pounds occasionally
- May be required to physically move students or equipment weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to endure prolonged standing, walking, sitting, kneeling, occasional reaching above the head or the shoulders, bending, and squatting
- Abide by state statutes, school board policies, and regulations

Position Description
POSITION TITLE: Head Football Coach & Campus Athletic Coordinator
FLSA: Exempt
QUALIFICATIONS: Must meet AR licensure requirements.
Head Coaching experience preferred.
CDL or willing to obtain CDL within 30 days.
LOCATION: Northside High School
REPORTS TO: Principal & Director of Athletics and Activities
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: A full contract for this position is 240 days, with benefits as specified in employee contract. Contract will be prorated based on the actual start date.
