- Focus on internal diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives for a Line of Business or Enterprise Functions. Leverage data and insights to deploy programs in support of under-represented groups.
- Serve as a point of contact for the LOB OC leadership and HR leadership on DEI matters, offering subject matter expertise on how to build inclusive business models to enhance community impact and business performance.
- Partner closely with the Human Resources and Operating Committee Leadership Teams to ensure alignment while creating and driving a fair, inclusive, and equitable employee experience at scale.
- Engage with HR and Business leaders in implementing best practices to create inclusive teams that encourage different perspectives, creative thinking and open collaboration. Leverage internal and external data to measure progress against goals, identify trends and inform future actions that support career growth at Wells Fargo.
- Lead internal development and implementation of diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives by leveraging Employee Resource Networks, Executive Forums, and manages the team of consultants who engage with stakeholders across the Company.
- Partner with LOB DEI Councils to design and implement scalable DEI employee engagement solutions that align to Wells Fargo culture, reflect our values and enable our desired employee experience.
- Lead compelling, data-driven discussions with our executive and senior leadership teams, providing insights into our DEIB strategy and how to implement industry best practices.
- Lead a team of consultants who ensure execution of DEI programs across the line of business. Serve as a central DEI resource for employees.
- Responsible for the strategic support of a segment (B/AA, AAPI, H/L, LGBTQ+) in addition to day-to-day line of business DEI consulting.
- 5+ years of Management experience
- 5+ years of working in a highly matrixed environment
- 10+ years of Strategy and Planning experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 10 + years of experience working with diverse populations in a professional setting.
- Bachelor's degree in social work, human resources or related field
- Ability to operate in a highly matrixed and global environment with multiple and senior stakeholders
- Experience developing and implementing programs and initiatives aimed at promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Experience as a leader of people and large teams: providing skill and career development and coaching to direct reports
- Proven leader who can implement large scale change
- Strong organizational skills and passion for getting the details right
- Creative thinking and ability to execute and measure the effectiveness of new ideas
- High aptitude for influencing, collaborating and inspiring change

About DSRI
The Diverse Segments, Representation, and Inclusion (DSRI) team is focused on increasing diverse representation at all levels of the company, creating a more inclusive workplace environment, and better serving and growing our diverse customer segments and diverse suppliers across all lines of business. The Head of Diversity Equity and Inclusion will directly report to the Head of Diverse Segments, Representation, and Inclusion (DSRI).
This newly created role is an exciting opportunity for someone to shape the internal diversity, equity and inclusion strategy for Wells Fargo. Reporting to the Head of DSRI, this position will develop, implement, and oversee strategies to continuously improve engagement, and support ongoing diversity, inclusion and equity across the enterprise. The Head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion will influence senior leaders and executive leadership to align Wells Fargo continued support of the ongoing work of building strong relationships and drive a people first culture where every person can thrive. The leader will serve as key point of contact and provide expert guidance to leadership and advise on matters related to diversity related issues and lead in the development of a strategic diversity and enterprise belonging strategies.
