- Define and/or update Group HSE program and direct the resources and activities of the Company to support the HSE programs by providing advice and guidance to the Management.
- Continually maintains an appropriate level of awareness, knowledge, and preparedness across the Company to create a culture that prioritizes effective HSE.
- Challenge the existing HSE policies and practices of the Company to ensure they are appropriate; Develop and implement EHS policies & ISO programs (eg. ISO 14001)
- Conduct hazard and risk assessments and develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure adherence to HSE standards.
- Ensures compliance with regional, state, and local environmental health and safety regulations. Stay up to date with changes in regulations, assess their impact on the organization and develop initiatives to address compliance gaps and drive continuous improvement.
- Implement initiatives to reduce the organization's environmental impact. Develop and monitor programs for waste management, pollution prevention and water conservation.
- Work with internal stakeholders, such as Manufacturing management teams and corporate departments to integrate HSE considerations into business processes and decision-making.
- Engage with external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, industry groups, and community organizations, to stay informed and establish positive relationships.
- Establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track HSE performance. Prepare reports and presentations for management (eg. Group Balanded Score Card) and regulatory agencies. Monitor and communicate progress towards HSE goals and objectives.
- Engineering Master degree
- Minimum 10-15 years of related experience in the Chemical / Manufactuing industry, including HSE and direct leadership of operations in a multi-site & multicultural environment.
- Successful international experiences in concrete programs implementation, in leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Thorough understanding of the management of chemical and hazardous materials.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections.
- Willing to travel for business

To meet our challenges, we are looking for our next Head of Global HSE (M/F)! This position will be located in Lille (La Madeleine - in the HQ's offices).
Our teams
Reporting to the Head of Sustainability, the Head of Global HSE is responsible for the design, implementation, communication, and coordination of all Environmental, Health, and Safety programs for the company.

You have developed a proven track record on concrete HSE program implementation or have an operational experience with an important focus on HSE subjects within the industrial sector and most preferably on an international scale.
Your strong managerial and interpersonal skills enable you to communicate broadly across a multicultural and matrix organization and develop and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of constituencies.
Your analytical skills and attention to detail enable you to identify and analyze problems, as well as devise solutions.
Must also have : strong organizational, planning and time management skills.
