      Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to serve communities around the world.

      We are seeking a talented Head of Operations to drive operational excellence and lead business planning for B2B customers. The ideal candidate will combine strategic planning with strong execution capabilities, focusing on delivering exceptional customer experiences and scaling our regional operations. This includes partnering with BD and Sales teams across B2B verticals and building and leading regional teams to manage operations globally.

      Export Control Requirement:
      Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

      Key job responsibilities
      Develop and execute a comprehensive global operations strategy, including business models and execution frameworks tailored to each region.
      Build and lead regional operations teams, coordinating closely with Amazon’s existing infrastructure to ensure efficient service delivery.
      Drive operational readiness for market entry, including planning, cross-functional alignment, and partner onboarding.
      Oversee end-to-end service delivery, including logistics, field operations, distribution, partner management, and customer support.
      Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with service providers and other key operational stakeholders.
      Define and monitor operational KPIs and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and accountability.
      Collaborate with legal, tax, and regulatory teams to ensure compliance and readiness in each country of operation.
      Manage ongoing operations post-launch, including owning regional P&L, optimizing costs, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.8+ years of experience leading operational or business teams.
      Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
      5+ years of experience managing P&L responsibilities.
      5+ years of experience in internet, telecommunications, satellite, or enterprise service industries.Experience building and scaling high-performing operational teams.
      Background in international business operations.
      Proficiency in regional languages relevant to the role.
      Willingness and ability to travel internationally on a regular basis.
      Strong analytical thinking and negotiation skills.
      Experience operating in both U.S. and international markets.
      Demonstrated success in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments.
      Proven leadership in general management roles with broad operational scope.

      Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $157,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $260,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
