      We are seeking an exceptional candidate for the position of Head of Intelligence and Performance. In this role you will lead on the strategic and operational management of the adult social care business intelligence function on behalf of the Adults and Health Directorate.

      You will establish an effective performance management infrastructure which will enable the directorate to meet its strategic objectives; promote data maturity within adult social care services, helping enable a culture of informed strength-based practice based on effective practice conversations at all levels; informing a shared understanding of need and of service effectiveness, ensuring frontline services and commissioners can access and effectively use data and intelligence to understand demand, activity, quality and impact. You will support effective data capture through influencing recording that is proportional, appropriate and reportable.

      Considering key changes on the horizon aligned to quality assurance you will have significant experience of leading change programmes, including service quality and driving up standards and performance, demonstrating the ability to manage competing priorities whilst ensuring delivery on a range of programmes and adapting to changing circumstances.
      The post holder will build strategic, strong, credible, effective, and collaborative relationships with internal and external partners and stakeholders, nationally, regionally and locally ensuring the views, values and needs of the organisation are fairly and accurately represented, and, to influence and co-produce national policy, procedures and documentation in relation to work sponsored by the Department of Health and Social Care.
