- Defining the system logic, working with the product and engineering teams to implement
- Leading the modernization of our loan account management system, ensuring it is ready for future product capabilities
- Support the end-to-end lifecycle for new loan products, ensuring product definitions (interest rates, grace periods, fees) are accurate in the system.
- Loan lifecycle definitions and management
- Providing loan account management capabilities to support all of Sunbit servicing needs
- Serve as the subject matter expert driving research, evaluation, and development of new technologies and capabilities
- Experience writing not just business procedural documents but also technical briefs for product and engineering
- Demonstrated excellence in managing loan account systems, with a proven track record of changing our system capabilities
- Deep experience with loan account management components and how they integrate
- Strong regulatory fluency understanding TILA
- Experience modernizing/replatforming an existing loan account management system a plus
- Experience with implementing a modern account core

- We believe in paying fairly and equitably based on a number of factors including but not limited to previous experience, relevant work history, interview performance, geographical location, internal equity, and expected level of ownership.
- We are targeting a salary of $150,000 - $175,000 per year for this role
- This role will also be granted company equity via stock options

The Role
As we evolve as a company we are looking for an experienced leader of the loan account management systems to elevate our loan account management functionality. You will be responsible for high-scale operation system that processes more than one million active loans a day, and growing. Reporting to the Head of the Core Company you will hold a key leadership role managing the backoffice processes for Sunbit core business area.
You will be responsible for defining the core capabilities of our loan account management system, ensuring it is compliant and ready to support our future products and servicing needs. Along with owning these definitions you will lead us through a modernization of our loan account management system. You will work directly with multiple members of our leadership team given the importance of this role.
