      Yahoo Sports connects fans to the sports and fantasy games they love most, providing personalized quality content and superior fan experiences every day.

      Rivals is seeking an experienced operations leader for its camps business reporting directly to the Head of Partnerships & GM of Rivals. The Rivals Camp and Rivals Combine series provide opportunities for elite and aspiring college football recruits to showcase their talents across the country. The Player Programs Lead will manage these programs end-to-end, leading relationships with agency partners and finding ways to monetize, optimize, and grow.

      Responsibilities:

      • Lead and manage all aspects of Rivals Camp, Combine, and Showcase events including planning, registration, on-site logistics, sponsorship activation, marketing and more

      • Lead relationships and manage coordination with agency partners

      • Manage and be accountable for player program-related P&L with a specific focus on creating new revenue opportunities and managing costs

      • Work with Yahoo Sports sales and marketing teams to grow sponsorship revenue associated with player programs (new and existing)

      • Work with Rivals' content team to organize and optimize player program coverage and associated content to grow awareness of player programs

      • Lead future program expansion efforts (e.g., basketball)

      • Measure and report on player program performance to key executive stakeholders on a monthly basis

      About You:

      • BS/BA required

      • 7+ years of experience leading efficient, fast-paced operations

      • Experience working in live sports, events, and/or player programs is a plus

      • Strategic thinker capable of remaining on time and on budget within a fast-paced environment

      • Ability to devise, execute, and report on strategies that support company priorities and objectives

      • Strong and effective communicator

      The compensation for this position ranges from $90,750.00 - $188,750.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
