  Your responsibilities

  • Leading the team of process engineers and technical operators focused on launch of new products in Switzerland and Datwyler’s manufacturing sites around the world
  • Ensuring excellence and supervision of technical execution, design of experiment and documentation during new process and product development
  • Effective planning and communication with technical project managers, operations and other relevant roles for new product launches
  • Effective collaboration with product engineering, material development and R&D for introduction of novel technologies, materials, products and processes
  • Provide technical support for project management and manufacturing sites during product launch and handover
  • Drive innovation and adoption of new technologies for various manufacturing processes in Datwyler portfolio

  Our requirements

  • Bachelor or Masters degree or equivalent in polymer engineering and processing, mechanical or manufacturing engineering or relevant fields
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with elastomer materials, process development and manufacturing of elastomer parts
  • Proven track record in leadership and building and driving successful teams
  • Highly driven, technically curious, result oriented and initiative character
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build and maintain internal and external network
  • Creative mindset with passion for innovation and technology
  • Excellent command of language verbal and written in both German and English (Level C1)
