Job Description
- Req#: 11154
- Leading the team of process engineers and technical operators focused on launch of new products in Switzerland and Datwyler’s manufacturing sites around the world
- Ensuring excellence and supervision of technical execution, design of experiment and documentation during new process and product development
- Effective planning and communication with technical project managers, operations and other relevant roles for new product launches
- Effective collaboration with product engineering, material development and R&D for introduction of novel technologies, materials, products and processes
- Provide technical support for project management and manufacturing sites during product launch and handover
- Drive innovation and adoption of new technologies for various manufacturing processes in Datwyler portfolio
- Bachelor or Masters degree or equivalent in polymer engineering and processing, mechanical or manufacturing engineering or relevant fields
- Minimum 5 years of experience with elastomer materials, process development and manufacturing of elastomer parts
- Proven track record in leadership and building and driving successful teams
- Highly driven, technically curious, result oriented and initiative character
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build and maintain internal and external network
- Creative mindset with passion for innovation and technology
- Excellent command of language verbal and written in both German and English (Level C1)
