- Refine and document the end-to-end strategic sales engagement strategy
- Create a contact strategy for our Nisa customer base; making sure that feedback can be captured and shared appropriately
- Own the budget for sales engagement and industry interactions, and be accountable for driving new sales engagement and ROI for all activity
- Create a plan to drive and monitor the success of our sales engagement objective(s)
- Provide reports, insights, and recommendations on a monthly/quarterly basis to make sure we’re maximising ROI
- Build a solid understanding of the engagement needs of our internal and external partners, and use this to inform our comms approach for each group
- Manage the exchange of feedback and communications between the business and our customers
- Pro-actively identify and explore continuous improvement opportunities; helping to drive business growth
- Significant experience in a senior sales engagement role
- Experience planning strategies for in-year and 4-year sales engagement
- Experience managing large-scale and complex budgets
- Good communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to suit a range of audiences
- Good relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and challenge people (of all levels of seniority) inclusively

Head of Sales Engagement – Co-op Wholesale & Nisa Retail
£95,000 to £115,000 plus great benefits, including up to 10% employer pension contributions, private healthcare, and a company car or car allowance (Work Level 4)
Manchester city centre (hybrid working)We’re looking for a Head of Sales Engagement to join us to own and lead the strategic sales programme for Sales and Retail across Nisa. You’ll be accountable for the management of all retail sales engagement, and you’ll work to refine our end-to-end sales engagement strategy, covering three specific tiers: existing customer, industry-wide influencers, and potential new business.
As a Head of Sales Engagement, we’ll also look to you to own the budget for sales engagement and industry-wide activity; delivering a strategic plan to be carried out with a clear ROI for all activity. In this role you’ll work in a hybrid way – splitting your time between home, the office, and visiting our customers and events (find out more about our hybrid working policy at colleagues.coop.co.uk/hybrid-working-policy).
