Job Description

Leading the sales team, driving day-to-day activities and collaborate closely with the VP Sales & Customer Services on the leadership and administration of the team.
Set and define ambitious criteria for a robust and measurable Sales Activity Plans (SAP) for Maintenance Solutions, ensuring tangible activity is implemented and recorded.
For other Product Solutions, support the implementation of SAP, ensuring collaboration between the Nordics sales team and relevant Technical Sales & Business Development Managers.
Ensure regular updating of the sales pipeline is being implemented to hit the targets, based on quality opportunities on existing accounts and new business.
Monitor customer contract utilization and work with relevant internal stakeholders to secure the most optimal outcomes through proactive contract management.
Evaluate the performance of the sales team members promoting a positive, can-do culture.
Lead weekly sales meetings to secure a strong and results oriented sales team using the available sales tools and dashboards.
Implement and follow up on global sales strategies, policies, campaigns, and initiatives in collaboration with MPS teams and other stakeholders, where relevant.
Safeguard full compliance with WSS Sales Governance, policies, and processes.
Ensure all customers have approved credit limits in place, and ensure sales team comply with agreed payment terms and approved credit exposure limits.
Provide accurate and updated information on local accounts in WSS CRM system including visit reports, opportunities, deals etc.
Identify training needs for the sales teams, seek training support and champion initiatives such as Challenger training.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent marine qualification.
Minimum 5 years of sales experience.
Preferably international sales experience in technical sales
Experience of leading a team.
Good command of the English and Norwegian language (verbal and written).
Sailing or other maritime engineering experience is advantageous
You must be able to motivate and drive performance
Experience in negotiations and proven track record of establishing and maintaining relationships with customers

Results oriented and with demonstrated achievements in sales
Ambitious and a strong desire for success with a commercial mind-set
