- Lead the firm’s Strategic Plan process and goal setting in coordination with Corporate Planning
- Structure the Monthly Business Reviews in collaboration with the Regional and Solution Line teams and participate in senior leader meetings
- Support the preparation and execution of the quarterly earning's call – including scripts and Board materials
- Analyze market trends and opportunity and inform the executive management team about key competitor performance
- Oversee and coordinate strategic projects ensuring timely and successful completion, coordinating across the departments
- Lead the communication between the CFO and other business and functional areas
- Support the coordination and preparation for all meetings/events chaired and/or attended by the Executive Vice President/ CFO
- Proven track record of driving successful strategic initiatives, identifying opportunities and motivating change through creativity, relationship building and focused execution
- Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills
- Executive presence, communication and influencing skills;
- Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation; being able to plan and organize with and through people at all levels of the organization is critical to success
- A creative and curious problem solver who brings innovative ideas, new perspectives and passion, both conceptual and analytical; strong communications skills
- Inquisitive on industry trends and standard methodologies
- Being pro-active, anticipating needs and staying out ahead of them.
- Ability to formulate clear and concise executive messages to internal and external audiences on sophisticated topics.
- Must be flexible and have a comfort level with working in an often-ambiguous environment.
- Passion to challenge the status quo and find new solutions that drive out of the box ideas – appreciate and embraces change.
- 10+ years proven experience in a financial strategy or related roles
- Bachelor degree in a relevant field with extensive industry experience, MBA or relevant master’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience

Aon is seeking a Head of Strategic Finance reporting directly to the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. This is an outstanding opportunity to be the central point for the CFO to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in developing and driving the strategic business agenda for Aon. We are a high performing team that meets in person to build relationships with stakeholders, learn, teach and collaborate. This role is based in New York and given flexibility to work remotely.

Pay Transparency Laws:
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $250,000 - $370,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of New York. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
