What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide on-site and virtual training and technical assistance to recipients related to governance, program management, and fiscal operations
- Assist in correcting areas of noncompliance and deficiencies identified through the federal monitoring process
- Develop and implement Quality Improvement Plans that address root causes of compliance issues
- Maintain regular and timely communication with Regional Office staff regarding TTA delivery and progress
- Coordinate with specialists to ensure effective integration of management systems TTA supporting education, family services, and health services
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of a BA or BS degree from an accredited university or college
- 5+ years of experience in program and/or organizational management and/or fiscal operations with Head Start/Early Head Start programs
- 1 year of experience supporting recipients to improve program operations and management systems
- 1 year of experience communicating effectively, both orally and in writing, to various audiences
- Must have a valid driver's license and successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Fiscal expertise in budgeting, multiple funding sources, and Head Start audits
- Head Start expertise in Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment, and Attendance (ERSEA)
- Experience analyzing data to assist recipients in making data-informed decisions
