      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Supervise a team of attorneys and support staff, ensuring competent workforce management
      - Oversee legal support for Child Protective Services and Adult Protective Services cases
      - Develop and implement training plans related to legal matters for the Division
      - Prepare legal documents, including petitions, motions, and court orders
      - Provide legal consultation to leadership regarding matters arising from programmatic work

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Juris Doctor Degree and four (4) years of experience in the general practice of law
      - License to practice law in the State of North Carolina
      - Experience in trial law, preferably in family and juvenile law
      - Knowledge of state and federal regulations pertaining to Social Services
      - Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with trauma-informed systems and principles of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
      - Familiarity with civil law related to child and adult protective services
      - Skills in legal research and case preparation
