- Evaluate program and provider performance.
- Design, implement and gather health care evaluation data.
- Prepare reports, analyze data, present and interpret findings, identify implications and performance deficiencies used for decision making by senior leaders, health care consultants, and internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and report on health care budgets.
- Develop and maintain health care information systems.
- Identify and explore business opportunities in the delivery of health care.
- Respond to evaluation inquires/concerns from interest groups.
- Conduct education with provider groups regarding contract evaluation expectations and data collection.
- Provide support to provider groups and health care consultants to maintain the integration of evaluation procedures with existing service procedures.
- An undergraduate degree preferably in health science, MIS, computer science, social science, statistics, or related field.
- A solid understanding of evaluation methodology combined with 3 to 5 years related experience.
- Proficiency with data and statistical analysis tools (python, SPSS) and data extraction/reporting tools (SQL, Cognos). Knowledge of PowerBI is an asset.
- Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills combined with excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills. Experience preparing reports for senior leadership and general audiences.
- Ability to work within tight timelines and on multiple projects simultaneously with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal and time management skills with a commitment to providing quality customer service.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively to effectively achieve results in a fast-paced team environment.

Health Care Strategy is looking for an enthusiastic individual who is a team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment. The Health Care Strategy Evaluation team evaluates the performance of all WCB health care services and programs, and promotes evidence-based, outcome-oriented and quality improvement services. You will also play a leading internal role in planning and implementing change initiatives involving business systems and process re-engineering with respect to the WCB’s Health Care Strategy.

Note: This is a permanent full-time position. Final candidates for this position will be asked to undergo a security clearance and a technical assessment.
