Work across the Global network, including Global steering committees to inform and develop holistic integrated evidence plans.
Lead strategy on, and direct the development of local and international data assets to execute on the iEP.
Perform high quality analyses using appropriate methodologies, tools, and best practices
Authors and contributes to internal study reports, peer-reviewed publications and manuscripts, and external presentations
Lead in the assessment and evaluation of the internal and external RWD environment in order to develop and maintain the overall strategy for RWD Sciences in Canada
Lead strategic alliances between internal and external partners to drive the long-term strategy and direction of the health data strategy in Canada
As an integral member of local cross-functional teams, the health data strategy lead is responsible for developing the RWD strategies to meet the evidence needs of internal stakeholders (eg. Product Strategy, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs and Market Access) locally and globally
Serves as the subject matter expert able to consult and advise on IIS and RWE methodology used in RWD studies.
Assess the long term potential of projects with the purpose of being utilized across the entire health data strategy and all of Roche’s therapeutic areas.
Increase the value of health data through strategic investments and partnerships.
Master’s Degree Specify: Epidemiology, Outcomes Research, Statistic, Biostatistics, health economics, or similar areas of academic discipline
Programming experience with SAS, python, R and/or other statistical software packages would be an asset.
Comprehensive knowledge of ICH GCP, Guidelines and Quality standards related to Clinical Trial management for both sponsored and supported trials.
Experience in multi-project management, including the ability to cope with a variety of complex tasks and set priorities. Proven ability to manage projects. Skills in strategic planning.
Experienced in influencing and navigating complex negotiations to achieve team deliverables.
Strong interpersonal skills with proven effectiveness in managing internal and external relationships and negotiating solutions.
Excellent ability to communicate clearly and accurately in both written and spoken English.
Ability to clearly communicate key insights from complex information/data to all levels in the organization and with external stakeholders (researchers, HCPs, research participants, patient organizations)
Self-motivated and achievement driven, highly organized, excellent ability to prioritize own tasks and to optimize team performance. Manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience leading cross-functional teams. Successful and comfortable working in a complex, multi-functional matrix through all stages of team management.
Exceptional knowledge and experience applying statistical methods to drug development and evidence generation

The Opportunity:
As the Health Data Strategy Lead (HDSL) you are responsible for holistic planning and execution of strategic health data initiatives and evidence generation activities (including RWD and IIS) across Canada. The HDSL is charged with coordinating and collaborating across the Global organization to co-develop international integrated evidence plans through their in-depth understanding of local regulatory, health technology assessment, pricing, health system, and patient needs resulting in an unparalleled understanding of how Roche is contributing to improving the lives of patients, while bringing value to health systems in Canada and beyond. The HDSL will develop data assets to be used in local and global integrated evidence plans, while executing on the iEP by co-designing studies to address evidence gaps, delivering on the Canadian commitment to those studies, and leading such studies across the Global network and in Canada.
