What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist professional staff in developing and delivering health education interventions
- Promote, maintain, and improve individual and community health
- Help individuals and communities adopt healthy behaviors
- Attend on-site meetings and trainings approximately five times a year
- Collaborate with the Substance Use Services team within the Center for Community Health Advancement
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must reside in Wisconsin
- Minimum educational requirement: Associate degree in Health Education, Community Health, Public Health, Health Science, Wellness, or related field
- No prior experience required
- Must not have been excluded from any federally funded program, including Medicare and Medicaid
- Ability to listen, serve, and prioritize the needs of patients and customers
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Education, Public Health, Community Health, Wellness, or related field
- One year of experience working in community health
