      Health IT Specialist

      We are excited to announce that currently we are looking for a Health Information Technology Specialists to join our team of over 10,000 global field representatives in several regions making over 20 million product details annually for our pharmaceutical and biotech clients.

      Health Information Technology Specialist

      The primary focus of this role will be to ensure that the brand is seamlessly incorporated into Electronic Health Record systems at prioritized accounts. The person in this role, which is commercial non sales, will also be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive customer specific plans, and will be working in a collaborative manner with the broader Matrix team of Marketing, Access, Sales, Medical, & HEOR.

      Duties/Responsibilities

      • Align resources in order to develop comprehensive plans by priority account
      • Complete need’s assessment with identified customers in order to address Health Information Technology Gaps
      • Develop and implement comprehensive customer specific plans
      • Will act as matrix team HIT Health IT subject matter expert to both internal and external stakeholders
      • Responsible for identification and sharing of Health IT insights with appropriate stakeholders (Marketing/Access/Sales)
      • Assist customers in optimizing EHR systems in order to address gaps in patient safety gaps

      Requirements

      Health Information Technology Specialist (HIT)

      • 4-year Bachelor's degree from an accredited University preferred

      • Minimum of 3 years working with health informatics systems, including: Epic, Cerner, Medi tech, etc.

      • Experience with EHR build, implementations, redesign, and optimization of these systems within the health informatics team at a leadership level, or similar role within a pharmaceutical company preferred

      • Excellent presentation skills to C-Suite executives preferred

      • B2B or software sales experience preferred

      • Clinical experience preferred

      • Demonstrated understanding of the business drivers, dynamics, regulations, and managed health care within the pharmaceutical industry

      • Demonstrated skills at building and maintaining professional relationships with key customers, office staff and others in the customer influence network

      • Effectively is active listening, probing and other selling skills to enhance communication, build & influence key customers

      • Demonstrated ability to analyze, develop and execute business plans

      • Demonstrated ability to work in matrix teams

      • Demonstrated track record of developing self to drove and enhance performance.

      • 50% travel may be required

      The potential base pay range for this role is $130,000 - $135,000 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
