- Ensures effective health care oversight by direct supervision of middle management staff. Assists with the ongoing monitoring and follow-up of support recipient health care issues and needs.
- Develops the health care skills of all direct support staff through teaching coaching and mentoring, ensuring the delivery of quality services.
- Develops and supports middle management to onboard, supervise, develop, and evaluate direct support staff in their respective homes related to health care service delivery.
- Maintains close communication and collaboration with direct care providers, care coordinators, hospital social workers, discharge planners, medical vendors, physicians and others as needed to ensure optimum provision of care.
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Science, Social Science, Nursing, or Special Education or related field required. Emphasis of study in developmental disabilities preferred. Experience in lieu of education may be accepted on a one for one basis
- Four years of experience working with those who have healthcare challenges; two of which include supervision responsibility; or
- Equivalent combination of related education and/or work experience.
- CNA/CMA/LPN or equivalent license preferred. Emphasis of study in developmental disabilities and/or experience in residential services strongly preferred.

As our Health Services Supervisor, you will oversee assigned Hope Assisted Living Homes (ALHs) and the quality care of the support recipients who reside in them through their work in teaching, coaching and mentoring all staff assigned to these homes in the areas of health care supports. To thrive in this role, you should have evidenced background in medical supports and a strong passion for intellectual and developmental disabilities.
