      About the Position:

      This Health System Specialist position is located at William Beaumont Army Medical Center, El Paso, Texas.

      This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

      Duties


      • Coordinate multiple projects associated with health care programs and systems to include information systems.
      • Facilitate interaction between multiple customers who wish to collectively apply resources to cross-functional solutions.
      • Assist customers design workflows to efficiently and effectively accomplish their shared purpose.
      • Facilitate business planning meetings with the use of tools and/or techniques to assist in idea generation and problem solving.
      • Engineer the identification of other groups or disciplines that may be impacted by the business process under study and coordinate their involvement either as a consortium or as technologists.
      • Assess several alternatives to assist customers in justifying investments and in planning their budgets for recommended solutions.

      Requirements


      • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
      • A Personnel Security Investigation may be required.
      • This position may require the incumbent to work during irregular work hours which may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and/or varying work schedules.

      Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes includes advising on health care delivery systems/operations; and preparing documents for healthcare operation practices/policies. this definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

      Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
