What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the initial point of contact for patients and providers in a high-volume call center
- Handle 60-65 inbound calls daily, assisting with service requests and inquiries
- Utilize multiple applications and dual monitor setup to provide customer assistance
- Maintain adherence to company policies, including HIPAA/PHI regulations
- Contribute to a positive team environment by demonstrating enthusiasm and support
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or GED
- At least 2 years of customer service experience in a call center environment, with 1 year in healthcare using medical terminology
- Proficient in navigating dual monitors and multiple applications
- Typing speed of 30 WPM and ability to perform data entry while listening
- Basic skills in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in a healthcare-related customer service role
- Familiarity with durable medical equipment and home healthcare services
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex inquiries
- Experience with customer service phone simulation assessments
