What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Actively listen to customers to understand their concerns and build rapport
- Provide essential information regarding access to care issues, benefits, and coverage
- Guide callers through troubleshooting and navigating self-service options
- Utilize knowledge systems to research and review documents for customer assistance
- Empathize and resolve concerns to enhance the customer's healthcare experience
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be at least 18 years old with a High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 months of experience as a health plan call center agent
- Exceptional customer service, active listening, and verbal/written communication skills
- High proficiency in computer usage and navigation of multiple applications
- Willingness to work any shift between 10:00 AM - 1:00 AM EST, including weekends and holidays
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Medicare and/or Medicaid
- Bilingual in Spanish
