What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor and manage inbound claim files and ensure timely uploads into internal systems
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to resolve discrepancies and improve processes
- Validate claims data and manage errors through systematic reviews and feedback
- Generate and submit encounter and supplemental files to CMS, maintaining audit trails
- Analyze claims data gaps and recommend best practices based on findings
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in health information management, Data Analytics, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in the healthcare technology industry
- 2+ years of experience with ACA and Medicare/Medicaid programs
- Familiarity with CMS/ACA submission protocols and 837 file formats
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of PHI handling and HIPAA compliance
- Experience with Medicare Advantage or Medicaid encounter data
- Ability to interpret Statements of Work (SOWs) and translate into operational workflows
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, or data visualization tools
