What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer incoming calls and meet callers' needs while confirming patient demographic and insurance information
- Schedule, cancel, and reschedule appointments for patients following departmental policies
- Accurately capture and register patient information in a timely manner
- Assist in mentoring newly onboarded team members
- Process payments for co-pays and outstanding balances, and transfer calls as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma
- One year of data look-up/data entry experience
- Two years of customer service experience involving complex problem-solving skills
- One year of experience in a call center within the customer service/medical industry
- One year of remote work experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- One year of post-secondary education
- Experience in a healthcare call center
- Patient registration experience
