Job summary
The Dermatology team are seeking an enthusiastic Healthcare Support Worker (Band 2-3 depending on experience) to join them. The department provides many different types of activity, including adult clinics, children clinics, day surgery and other treatments.
The successful candidate will have excellent organisation skills and be adaptable to changing situations responding effectively and empathetically to all patients .
Outpatient's is a diverse, multidisciplinary environment which requires flexible and adaptable skills, an aptitude to learn and a motivation to develop your own skills.

There is a need for administration as part of the role and so good basic IT skills are required.
Some weekend working may be required to support the needs of the service.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, motivated and committed to give high quality nursing care and be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team. You will consistently ensure that a patient's privacy, dignity and psychological well-being is maintained, and at all times, the care given is patient centred.
You need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. We require individuals who are forward thinking, well organised and with a positive attitude towards flexibility and change.
