      The Dixfield Sawmill is looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator / Log Scaler who is reliable, hard-working, has a positive attitude, and is able to work well as part of a team.

      Qualifications

      • Must have experience operating a Hood Loader
      • Currently hold or capable of obtaining a State of Maine log scalers' license
      • Safety-oriented
      • Self-motivated hard worker
      • Desire to work with the best technology in the industry
      • Applicants need to be able to work in a team environment that is committed to working safe while focused on production
      • Must be willing to works shift work as needed
      • Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements

      Responsibilities

      • Operate log yard equipment and scale incoming logs to specifications
