What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Facilitate the development and implementation of quality improvement programs and initiatives
- Analyze medical records and supporting documentation to verify the quality of care
- Plan, design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive program of continuous quality improvement (CQI)
- Assist in preparing the annual quality improvement evaluation report and program documents
- Educate staff and providers about quality improvement systems and requirements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience, OR Associate's/Bachelor's degree, OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience
- Extensive working knowledge of HEDIS and quality improvement principles, practices, and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively
- Proven capability in data analysis and managing multiple competing initiatives
- Certification specializing in Lean Healthcare Management, Project Management Professional, or Registered Nurse credential preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing or other health science degree
- 2 years of registered nurse experience
- 2 years of HEDIS experience
- Skilled in building and managing collaborative relationships across teams
- Strong communication skills for effectively responding to inquiries and complaints
