What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide Tier 2 and 3 support for the NIDDK computer user community
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for end-users
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems
- Assist with network administration and security measures
- Document all support activities and maintain accurate records
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field
- 2+ years of experience in helpdesk support or IT services
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A+
- Experience working in a federal government IT environment
- Knowledge of ITIL framework and best practices
