Pay Rate: £16.46 per hour - plus night shift premium £1.81 per hour between 18:00-06:00, Weekend hourly premiums Saturday £1.32 per hour and Sun £2.47 per hour
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) £41,084 basic on a 48 hour week plus shift premiums
Shift patterns available: Fixed shifts of either Thursday to Sunday OR Friday to Monday

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers to play a vital role in our distribution service.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• Start times available on Days between 01:00-07:00 or Nights between 15:00-23:00 ( 3 hour start window)
• Shift patterns available: Either Thursday to Sunday OR Friday to Monday (please note this involves working Saturday and Sunday)
• Nationwide RDC bay delivery work and backhauls, supplier collections
• Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• You will hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Have a MINIMUM of 4 months LGV C+E (HGV Class 1) 'on the road' commercial driving experience
• Live locally to Tamworth
