Simulation and design of power semiconductor devices such as: ultra fast diodes, thyristors and GTO thyristors
Product realization in co-operation with the process engineering team
Characterize, debug and prepare new, innovative power devices for market introduction
Customer specific product development
Project management of R&D projects in co-operation with Littelfuse global foundries
Device failure analysis
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and product engineering, to ensure successful project execution
Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Educated to degree level with relevant experience
Working towards professional qualifications
Understanding of Power Semiconductor Physics and Devices
Innovative thinker with good lateral thinking ability to resolve design and process issues
Strong communication skills in both R&D and production environments
A collaborative team player with high motivation to get things done
Willingness to learn, undergo training, and develop new skills

We are seeking an innovative and highly motivated High Power Semiconductor R&D Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the research, design, development, construction and testing of specialized materials, components and products. As well as collaborate with various departments in the organization to define and align project requirements.
