What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services in patient's homes
- Assist in implementing vocational/education programs designed to enhance task performances
- Design/adapt equipment and working/living environments to improve function and independence
- Provide therapeutic treatment and instruction to improve strength, coordination, and function
- Document patient observations, prepare clinical notes, and assist with progress reports
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Clear and Active Professional license to practice in Florida
- CPR certification
- 1-2 years clinical experience
- Knowledge of AHCA regulations and Medicare COP's guidelines
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 1-2 years of experience with a Medicare Certified Home Health agency
