What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer inbound patient scheduling calls and address concerns while meeting department service level goals
- Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments accurately following practice protocols
- Collect and perform data entry of patient demographics and insurance information
- Utilize professional communication skills to assist patients and de-escalate any dissatisfied customer situations
- Maintain confidentiality and provide exceptional customer service to all clients
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Education: High School Diploma/GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of two years of related experience in a medical setting or one year in a healthcare call center/customer service, or three or more years in a call center
- Proficient in Windows Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn specialized applications
- Excellent attention to detail and data entry accuracy with the ability to multitask
- Must reside in the United States
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Ability to type a minimum of 25 words per minute
- Basic healthcare knowledge
