What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle both inbound and outbound scheduling calls, ensuring customer concerns are addressed satisfactorily
- Communicate with healthcare personnel to exchange necessary information regarding patient appointments
- Verify insurance benefits and obtain precertification/authorization as needed
- Accurately collect and perform pre-registration data entry for patient demographic and insurance information
- Maintain confidentiality of account information and adhere to company policies and procedures
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of two years of related experience in a medical setting or one year of healthcare call center/customer service experience
- Basic healthcare knowledge is required
- Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual Spanish preferred

- Familiarity with multiple software systems for patient scheduling and registration
- Strong professional communication and listening skills
- Ability to de-escalate situations involving dissatisfied customers
