What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist customers with the creation of service requests and address questions related to computer technology
- Conduct requirement analysis, functional specification definition, and testing of application enhancements
- Manage resources and schedules for applications training and coordinate with vendors for software implementations
- Develop user and application support documentation to facilitate optimal use of applications
- Analyze and resolve software or procedural issues, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and technical experience
- 5-7 years of progressively more responsible job-related experience in an IS/healthcare environment
- High-level problem-solving skills to resolve complex technical, clinical, or administrative issues
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to carry a pager/cell phone and be available for 24/7 on-call support

- Experience in managing application databases and software utilization reviews
- Familiarity with current technology trends in the healthcare industry
- Skills in developing ad hoc and standard reports using system report writers
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate meetings and communicate effectively with diverse audiences
