Homestead is adding to our team of housekeepers for our Senior Living Facility in West Bloomfield, MI

Our facility is at Maple and Drake. The hours are 9 - 3:30 pm or 9 - 2:30 pm

The Housekeeper would be responsible for:

• Follow the assignment sheet/service plan performing tasks that are assigned so nothing is overlooked.
• Cleaning residents’ apartments: making beds, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms according to the cleaning schedule.
• Laundry assistance when needed
• Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
• Ensuring the environment is welcoming and comfortable for residents.
• Keeping records of housekeeping stocks and ordering supplied.
• General upkeep or communal areas and bedrooms.
• Other duties assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

· Residential cleaning experience preferred

· High school diploma or GED

· The capacity to work as a team

· Able to multitask and prioritize responsibilities

· The ability to arrive on time for every shift

· Reliable transportation required
