- Assist with human resources and business transactions through UAccess systems, including new hires, terminations, job changes, etc.
- Track, prepare, and disposition job postings in UA Talent Applicant System and student Handshake portal and coordinate searches.
- Assist with processing and maintaining FML/FMLA paperwork to remain in compliance with UA policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance on UA/UAHS practices and procedures.
- Assist in the day-to-day management of activities and requests related to recruitment and on-boarding of new employees; off-boarding for terminating employees and sending exit interview requests.
- Manage and process I-9 verification through UAccess and E-Verify for all new hires.
- Responsible for collecting data and processing all Designated Campus Colleagues (DCC).
- Assist with maintaining accurate employee personal information and personnel files.
- Compose correspondence and communicate confidential information.
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings and professional development pertinent to area of responsibility.
- Effectively and confidently exchange information with other departments and/or external contacts.
- Create and update department files, databases, and reports.
- Maintain accuracy with employee files and records.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent learning attained through experience required.
- Five (5) years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
