- Full-Time
- Monday - Friday; 8:30 am - 5:30 pm
- Location: Flowood, MS (In Office)
- Prepare new hire paperwork, contracts, and orientation materials.
- Conduct new hire orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
- Organize and file employment-related documents, such as contracts, performance appraisals, and disciplinary actions.
- Ensure data confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Support benefits enrollment processes and assist employees with inquiries.
- Collaborate with benefits providers to resolve issues and update information.
- Maintain benefits records and assist with open enrollment initiatives.
- Assist in the development and communication of HR policies and procedures.
- Monitor compliance with labor laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Participate in audits and assist with maintaining compliance documentation.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Escalate complex employee concerns to the appropriate HR personnel.
- Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution.
- Generate HR reports and analytics on various metrics, such as turnover, and new hires.
- Assist in analyzing HR data to identify trends and make informed decisions.
- Participate in HR projects related to process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve HR-related goals.
- One (1) year of previous complete human resources related duties.
- Associate’s degree in human resources, business administration, related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
- Basic understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Customer-focused attitude with the ability to maintain positive employee relations.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and a proactive approach.
- Two (2) or more years of experience in a human resources position
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.
