- This position provides benefits and other HR related support for employees and field HR as part of the HR Service Center. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Responds to calls and emails to the HR Service Center 800 number and email box.
- Monitors leave of absence administration through third party vendor and performs associated HR Oracle employee updates for status and/or payroll related items including benefit catchup calculations.
- Works on the weekly funding for the Retirement, Investment and HSA Plans.
- Routes job requisitions for approval and then creates job postings.
- Conducts benefits onboarding
- Enters hourly wage increases for field locations.
- Responds to Qualified Medical Support Orders and updates benefit elections as appropriate.
- Works on the Age 26 report to drop dependents turning 26 no longer eligible for benefits and updates benefit elections as appropriate.
- Works on service award reports and handles special award requests as needed as part of the USG Recognition Program.
- Creates and maintains employment files.
- Provides backup support to other HR Service Center employees.
- Participates in special projects with minimal guidance and performs other duties as assigned.
- Handles Leave of Absence/FMLA Administration
- Reviews and responds to all telephone calls/emails from employees at all levels regarding basic human resource inquiries.
- Navigates through third party platforms to investigate and/or confirm benefit options/selections and dependent verification.
- Use judgment in determining when the question/request should be elevated to the appropriate HR Business Partner/Manager or Center of Expertise for further investigation and response.

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
