- Demonstrate a consultative and business -oriented approach to the HR data analysis and interpretation
- Work independently with users to determine the reporting requirements
- Evaluate HR reporting systems to identify points of improvement
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance the HR Systems and understand inter-departmental reporting requirements, design reporting models, and roll out various reports aligning with the data strategy
- Translate business objectives and user needs into clearly written technical requirements
- Generate reports/queries, including writing, maintaining, and supporting a variety of reports or queries utilizing HRIS reporting tools. Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing needs. Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data
- Ensure security, end-user access, and data integrity across all HR platforms
- Conduct training, including developing user procedures, guidelines, and documentation. Train HR team on new processes/functionality. Train new system users
- Maintain awareness of current trends in HRMS with a focus on product and service development, delivery, and support, and apply key technologies
- Compile and distribute reports and presentations
- Perform special projects, research and analysis as requested
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Current knowledge of California and Federal labor laws, rules, and regulations highly desired
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to present information in an understandable format
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software, with outstanding technology skills required, including intranet and internet
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work and act independently with discretion
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to analyze situations and recommend workable solutions
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, sit, walk, twist, and turn
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to use a computer keyboard and calculator
- Work environment is indoors; majority of the time is spent sitting at a desk

Redwood Credit Union is looking for a HRIS Analyst who will be responsible for extracting and analyzing complex date from the HR system and environments related to HR, Compensation, Recruiting and engagement. In this position you will identify and report on trends and patterns found within the data and make recommendations for business and process improvement. Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and expectations for permanent and ad hoc reporting requests, to meet the analytical data needs of the other interacting departments. This position also serves as a SME in the areas of modeling the reporting solutions, reporting writing, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The HRIS Analyst will be working with the HR, Data Analytics and IT teams in building the reporting models and rolling out the framework.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Compensation: Base starting range: $44.00 to $57.00 per hour commensurate with experience.
