- Serves as the lead HRIS technical expert for the total rewards team (benefits, leave management, compensation, payroll and workers’ compensation).
- Develops, designs, builds, tests, implements, maintains, and enhances HRIS configuration and security as it pertains to Total Rewards such as creating new roles, updating/creating new business processes, mass changes, data loads, and integrations.
- Provides technical support for benefit processes as it pertains to configuration and maintenance that includes but is not limited to: configuration of benefit plans, new-hire enrollment, annual benefits open enrollment, voluntary benefits processes, benefit integrations, etc.
- Performs and/or assists with recurring benefit audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with current policies and regulations.
- Provide technical support for payroll processes as it pertains to HRIS configuration for timesheets, time off plans, earnings/deduction codes, data loads, etc.
- Provide technical support for the compensation team as it pertains to configuration/maintenance of compensation plans, merit cycle, etc.
- Completes and/or assists with legally-mandated (federal, state and local) reporting and mailings, including but not limited to formal notices, 5500 statements and ACA-related reporting, W2s, etc.
- Provides support for HRIS including, but not limited to, researching and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results, or process flaws.
- Writes, maintains, and supports a variety of reports and dashboards, both standard and custom.
- Delivers routine daily/weekly/monthly reporting and responds to basic to intermediate ad hoc data requests.
- Proactively reviews and recommends improvements to current processes and projects as it pertains to the HRIS.
- Promotes HRIS and other related technology/systems to increase productivity, decrease rework and eliminate manual effort.
- Partners with HR and technology teams to lead HRIS related projects, including system releases/upgrades, enhancement packages, process redesign and implementations.
- Provide project management support for system maintenance, upgrades and implementations. May oversee the completion of projects and assignments, including planning, assigning, monitoring and reviewing progress and accuracy of work, testing processes, evaluating results, etc.
- Provide support with training team members on HRIS processes and creating/maintaining training resources.
- Provide HRIS support for merger/acquisition (M/A) activity as it pertains to system configuration, data conversion, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Experience in one or more modules of Workday required.
- Track record of taking ownership and driving results.
- Ability to multitask and remain highly organized, developing effective organizational systems as needed.
- Ability to work with information in a confidential manner.
- Skilled in effective communication with a diverse workforce.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to work with large amounts of data
- Excellent presentation, as well oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience in gathering business requirements and documenting.
- Advance Excel and math skills.
- High attention to detail
- Knowledge of principles, practices and standards of human resource administration.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, or closely related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years HRIS related experience preferred with a demonstrated aptitude for analytics and problem solving.
- Minimum of 1 year of directly related experience with Workday preferred. Highly proficient across the full Workday HCM Suite performing duties to include: Business Process Configuration and maintenance, EIB configuration, Integration Management, Security and advanced report writing.
- Workday certifications preferred.
