Job Description

- Assist and lead the cultural transformation regarding HSE to help lead plant to achieve Zero accidents and Incidents
- Be responsible for coordinating and overseeing implementation of all Health & Safety programs and processes
- Participate in investigations to facilitate closure of identified non-conformances
- Provide Health and Safety expertise for the plant for all new projects and change management activities
- Follow up on non-conformances and develops the systems to resolve them based on root cause analysis
- Maintain an up-to-date incident reporting system, assist with investigating incidents in conjunction with the HSE Pillar team/safety committee and drive the completion of corrective actions to eliminate root causes/reoccurrence
- Develop technical guidance programs to identify and remove physical hazards`
- Experience in Environmental Health and Safety
- Must have completed Environmental Health and Safety training in areas such as OSHA, EPA, DNREC
- Experience in safety, and/or environmental technical standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with individuals at all levels
- Understanding and knowledge of regulatory reports and compliances including experience with ISO

Purpose of the role
Lead the HSE activities, partnering with all functions based at Thane Technical Center, to ensure safe and compliant operations across the site.
Main Responsibilities
1. Entering Monthly Safety data in enablon
2. Keeping track of Water, energy and waste
3. Safety Training to employees, visitors, contractors
4. Getting monthly WPI done as per calendar
5. Getting safety concerns closed
6. Encouraging and raising BOS awareness
7. Keeping track BOS raised and share tracker with team
8. Safety induction of new joinees
9. Endorsing permit to work and ensuring that permits are in place before start of work.
10. Investigating incidents/ near misses
11. QRP and Job Safety Analysis
12. Implementation of Mondelez HSE Standards along with standard owners and functional leads
13. Organize Gemba walks of the facility
14. Celebration of safety campaigns like National safety week, Fire week, Earth Hour, World Environment day, First aid day
15. Organizing mock drill and assessing effectiveness of ERP
16. implement Mondelez sustainability agenda
17. Prepare and submit all required compliance documents (Factory license, CTO, Waste returns etc.) in timely manner
18. Prepare required change management documents
19. Plan and conduct regular internal and external audits for Occupational Health, Ergonomics, Safety, Process Safety and Environment according to MDLZ standardsKPI's / Dimensions

Experience Required -
5 to 6 years of experience in HSE domain
