What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with faculty, research administrators, and project managers to develop cohesive visual strategies
- Design charts, graphs, infographics, and illustrations to effectively communicate complex data and concepts
- Ensure visual accuracy, alignment, and high-quality resolution in final materials
- Integrate visual elements consistently with organizational branding guidelines and proposal requirements
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality work within established timelines
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Professional experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio demonstrating creative and technical skills
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, fast-paced team with multiple deadlines
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience supporting grant or proposal development, particularly in higher education or research settings
- Familiarity with academic publishing, research dissemination, or federally funded projects
