Job Description
Provides an HR Consulting service to line management, and focuses on implementing the HR people plan for the consultants designated area. This role works with line managers to develop and implement HR strategy. They are responsible for providing advice and guidance to line managers across the full scope of HR practices and ensuring the correct implementation of HR processes.Key Result Areas:
Business Transformation, supporting efficient and effective BU transformation through the delivery of the transformation plan.
Providing holistic view of learning requirements and development paths. Supporting organisational change
Contributing to a high performance culture in the HR team
Adherence to HR governance and controls
Stakeholder Management, engaging stakeholders at all levels (primarily internal) to ensure effective delivery of HR services to clients
Strategy implementation of the HR people plan
Consulting
Determines and advises on the process to be undertaken to address client needs and assists with the implementation thereof •
Contracts with clients on time frame for delivery HR Calendar
Facilitates the execution of the HR Calendar which includes salary review, pay progression, culture, wellbeing, performance and talent management.
Recruitment & Selection
Consult with all line managers on Headcount management.
Collaborates with Talent Acquisition to support on recruitment, selection and development assessments.
Reward and Recognition
Facilitates Implementation, in accordance with Recognition and Reward guidelines Talent Management & Development
Facilitates the talent management process within the business unit •
Assists in facilitating and managing the successful development, implementation and monitoring of Training and Development
Employee Relationship Management
Provides procedural advice and assistance on the procedures related to grievances, disciplinary procedures and legislative actions. Performance Management
Assists in facilitating and managing the successful implementation of the performance management process and Workday Management
Management of workday related processes
Personal Effectiveness
Accountable for service delivery through own efforts
Individually accountable for managing own time, tasks and output quality
Collaborates effectively with others to achieve personal results
Accepts and lives the company value
Role Requirements
Matric, with a 3 year related degree or diploma essential ( HR / Commerce/ Behavioral Science)
At least 3-4 years’ proven experience working as a HR generalist
3-4 Experience in managing HC practices and process
Workday experience advantageous
Excellent MS Office skills with a strong focus on MS Excel
Ability to analyze and integrate information and data
Strong on information monitoring and assessment of processes and system
High level of ownership
Excellent planning and organizing competence
Focused attention to detail (qualitative and quantitative)
Portray a professional approach to work
OD and Change Management experience advantageous
