- Helps ensure payroll is complete and accurate for hourly (weekly) and salary (bi-weekly) employees.
- Reviews timesheets and schedules on a weekly basis to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.
- Administers employee data (new hires, employee changes, & terminations) via the Dayforce HRIS system.
- Conduct new hire employee orientation.
- Communicate and assist employees with all changes/updates to benefits given by the company (401k, medical, dental, vision, FSA, HRA, short term disability/FMLA, profit sharing).
- Effectively develop strategies and actively source, attract, recruit and select high-quality candidates.
- Conduct in-depth screen, assess, and identify talent, present, and recommend the fit positions for the candidates to the department managers. Continuously communicate and keep the candidates engaged for level of interest, qualifications, pay expectations, etc.
- Schedule and perform interviews, coordinating with the department manager as needed.
- Periodically analyze the market trend and make recommendations.
- Log OSHA recordables, as well as track hours for OSHA. Work with employees/Dr/workers comp on all medical claims.
- Coordinate company functions such as: plan parties, order meals and handle travel arrangements.
- Maintain record keeping of all employee’s attendance as well of earned and taken vacation for each year. As well and keeping track of pay for skills.
- Work with employees and managers/supervisors on all employee relation issues. Such as firing, performance, disciplinary and day to day issues.
- Coordinate and monitor monthly drug test as well as yearly hearing tests with all permanent staff.
- Help management as well as hourly employees comply with employee handbook.
- Help management/hourly employees with expense reports.
- Work with Corporate staff on a day-to-day basis.
- Data entry in the payroll and benefit systems.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma.
- At least 5 years of HR experience.
- Someone with a strong personality that can act as a leader.
- College degree.
- English Proficient.
- Basic computer and office software.
- Strong background in excel.
