- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of a recognized course in HVAC required.
- Two years of experience working in a commercial HVAC environment.
- As a Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Mechanic 1, you will maintain and repair the HVAC systems throughout the hospital and other off-site facilities to ensure a safe environment that is conducive to patient care.
- To help achieve our mission, you will adhere to departmental/governmental safety standards and departmental/organizational personal appearance policies.
- Your ability to maintain and repair hospital equipment/furniture to optimize patient care and ensure all documentation of completed work is accurate and returned to the Shop Supervisor is of vital importance.
- Accomplishing small renovation and construction projects in compliance with county and building codes is expected.
- Responding to work order requests for HVAC services and resolving customer complaints to their satisfaction is required.

Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is seeking a HVAC Mechanic 1 to join the Engineering team! This role is full-time working DAY shift with a varied schedules as needed by the department.
