Job Title IBM Guardium DB Security AdminRelevant Experience (in Yrs) 8+Technical/Functional Skills• Monitoring of the Databases and Instances, Analyse any DAM related incidents and Escalate the incidents with Stakeholders.• DB integration, Agent installation, configuration, policy configuration, fine tuning, enforcement, troubleshooting of incidents, problem and change management.• Co-ordinate closely with the teams for any integration of Databases and Instances• Manage Backup, Archiving and Restore of configuration.• Participate in migration/ upgrades.• Deploy & Configure the IBM Guardium System. Configure Guardium appliances, Install license keys, Install Guardium GIM/STAP/ATAP agents, Configure SMTP on the appliances, Configure SIEM on applianceExperience Required• Downloading GDE Appliances from IBM Passport and Deploying the GDE Appliances• Configuring the appliances by configuring network settings, NTP, time zones, license file etc• Upgrading GDE Appliance Software by taking backup and restore to the new GDE Appliance• Configuring High Availability on GDE Appliances and Manage access rights, policies, certificates and keys.• Ensuring availability of the Vormetric infrastructure. Providing support in configuring, implementing and upgrading policies based on rule definitions and specific requirements• Work with development, technology and security monitoring teams to facilitate the encryption of highly confidential data, to deploy access controls, policies and configure security monitoring reports• Troubleshooting issues like Loss of Connection, Management Console accessibility, Agents communication via designated ports etc.• Develop, document and continuously improve the support model and underlying processes• Responsible for day-to-day operations, ensuring that the operation is in compliance with the agreed objective.• Ensuring SLAs/SLOs/OLAs related to incident, change and service request are adhered.Roles & Responsibilities• Discover & Classify the databases on the network and locating and classify sensitive data (Auto Discovery)• Protect & Monitor Organizations Databases by Building policies, Define and implementing Policy Rules, Setup outlier detection settings, Monitor resources of appliance• Auditing and reporting by creating custom report queries• Maintaining and Configuring high availability functions for appliances and agents, Configuring alerts, Installing patches, Manage and maintain groups, Setup and maintain user accounts• Problem Determination, Troubleshoot installation, data capture and operational issues, Generate must gathers reports for IBM support assistanceNotice
