What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate the development of curriculum objectives for grades 3-12 Special Education
- Monitor the implementation and evaluation of curriculum objectives
- Support course audits to ensure alignment with state standards
- Collaborate with teachers to design formative and summative assessments
- Mentor and provide ongoing support to teachers in curriculum development
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Three (3) years of teaching experience
- Curriculum design experience
- Working knowledge of Texas state standards (TEKS)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master’s degree in Curriculum
- Experience developing curriculum and assessments
- Experience with building high-quality instructional materials for the classroom
- Project management experience
- Experience teaching or leading in an online setting
