      This is an exciting opportunity to help establish the Accounting Department in a new multi-cultural innovative industry. The IFRS Technical Accounting Manager will help in all areas of the accounting department as listed below.

      Roles and Responsibilities:

      • IFRS Financial Statements Preparation including proper footnotes.
      • Research proper Accounting Treatment.
      • Establishing and documenting Accounting Policies&procedures.
      • Work with internal and external outside auditors.
      • Review legal documents for technical accounting determination.
      • Work with outside counsel to understand legal documents.
      • Analysis as needed.
      • Establishing and monitoring Internal Controls.
      • Attention to detail.
      • Development of internal financial statements for review by management and Board of Directors.
      • Development of financial statement supporting documentation.
      • Month end activities.
      • Other jobs and duties as needed.
      • Areas of Leadership and Technical abilities.
      • Knowledge and experience preparing IFRS Financial Statements.
      • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Access, or other database applications.
      • Knowledge of SAP beneficial.
      • Understanding of Taxes.
      • Good written and oral communication.

      Minimum Job Requirements:

      • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or similar.
      • Minimum 5 years of Accounting /Finance Experience.
      • Good working knowledge of accounting principles, methods, and techniques.
      • Strong problem solving and communication skills.
      • Ability to work independently and multi-task.
      • Demonstrated teamwork and team building skills.

      Preferred Job Requirements

      • Bilingual English / Korean.
      • Certified Public Accountant.
      • Master of Business Administration.
      • Experience in continuous improvement systems and lean manufacturing.
      • Mainframe applications / ITM program understanding.
      • Ability and desire to identify opportunities for process improvements, and the drive to enact change in those instances.
