      Job Description

      PURPOSE

      To own service delivery for commercial services for Copper Chile about Maintenance and Engineering area.

      KEY TASKS

      • Ensure IT services are delivered in accordance with standard operating procedures and/or agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA)
      • Lead the Enterprise Application Services, especially those focused on Maintenance and Engineering processes.
      • Drive the main parts of the projects, initiatives, enhancements and incident management in which their participation is required, being a focal point for the business key users in the region to consolidate Maintenance and Engineering System strategy, support IM budget, scheduling and controlling.
      • To oversee monitoring and controlling the drivers, policies and procedures to the Maintenance and Engineering business area, attending the Operational Model define by IM and Enterprise application when dealing with demands, projects, incidents and general requests about Maintenance and Engineering Systems.
      • Escalate and report complex queries related to Maintenance and Engineering processes to the relevant global support organization.
      • Support the preparation and distribution of IM performance reports related to Maintenance and Engineering Systems based on a defined frequency.
      • Develop criteria for regular monitoring and remediation of IM Contracts services in their respective domain, ensuring compliance to contracted performance, service, safety, system sustainability, version management and corporate procedures among the Maintenance and Engineering related systems used by Copper Chile.
      • Support the demand & change management processes for any new Maintenance and Engineering System.
      • Identify service improvement opportunities from data trend analysis and customer need/input.
      • Support and coordinate the monitoring of IM contractor resources onsite and remote of Maintenance and Engineering Systems to ensure alignment with the contract and performance expectations (safety, SLA, standards etc.).
      • Manage any change request Maintenance and Engineering process, ensuring that all requests are properly approved, documented, and tracked.
      • Align the Enterprise Global Strategy among the local Maintenance and Engineering stakeholders and support the regional key users to connect with the business users in a process improvement operational model.
      • Support the Enterprise Application availability and compliance in the region for Maintenance and Engineering Systems
      • Optimize the effort from the business on Enterprise Application sustainability, planning effort and aligning the Maintenance and Engineering area among the Global and Local initiatives.
      • Promote the usage of Maintenance and Engineering Global Application homologated by ASRB & TSRB, reusing as much as possible the current solutions in place, whenever it fits the Maintenance and Engineering business requirements.
      • Work together with the key users to promote the collaboration on developing the usage of technology and process automation for Maintenance and Engineering processes.

      Qualifications

      Knowledge & Experience of:

      • 5 to 10+ years of experience in IM management or related fields.
      • Understanding of IM governance frameworks.
      • Proficient in required languages. LATAM roles will require proficiency in Portuguese or Spanish and English.
      • Demonstrates fully operational knowledge and significant experience in Maintenance and Engineering Application services, toolsets, compliance and standards.
      • Outsourced team management to ensure effective resource utilization across the portfolio.

      Qualifications

      • (Bachelor's degree or equivalent) in the relevant IM discipline.
      • Post graduate qualification in the relevant IM discipline is a Plus.

      Ability to:

      • Deliver a portfolio of IM services to a defined client base.
      • Hold vendors to account on SLA indicators.
      • Liaise with solutions design and architecture to make sure that roadmaps are followed, and services are introduced with excellence.
      • Analyse and identify risk root causes and quantify potential business impact.
      • Engage with key stakeholders and understand their process requirements.
      • Implement best-fit solutions to meet stakeholder requirements and contribute to IM process enhancements.
      • Perform continuous monitoring reviews and measure defined quality and quantity indicators.
      • Interpret policy and explain why work needs to be completed in a particular manner.
      • Explain how a particular process task needs to be fulfilled with the support of the specialists.
      • Assign and re-assign work to ensure that outputs and the elimination of waste.

      Participate in business initiatives/projects and the different processes involved.
