What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Schedule patient imaging tests efficiently and in a timely manner
- Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate personnel
- Confirm, cancel, and/or reschedule patient appointments as needed
- Document pertinent information related to imaging testing and authorizations
- Obtain previous studies for comparison, including reports and disk images
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum one year of imaging scheduling experience in a medical setting
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients and staff
- Strong understanding of patient confidentiality
- Proficient in handling incoming calls and emails from patients and practices
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with electronic health record systems
- Familiarity with medical imaging procedures and terminology
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy office environment
